Overview
Much of the lower town is part of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The Appalachian Trail passes through town, and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy has its headquarters here.
Getting around
Harpers Ferry has a MARC station on the Brunswick Line, and US 340 connects to Charles Town and to Northern Virginia and Frederick, Maryland.
